What's on the Menu for 2019?
There's nothing like a new year to make you renew your passions. I started my blog on January 1, 2012 and it amazes me that 7 long years have passed since that very first post.
In that time I've hunted and cooked sea urchins on the coast of Zanzibar, eaten guinea pig in Peru, visited a mead tasting hall in Russia and gone knife-shopping in Japan among many other memorable foodie experiences that will be etched in my mind - longer for having committed them to blog posts.
The past year was probably the only one that saw my blogging grind almost to a halt. What can I say? In between planning a destination wedding in Cyprus, honeymooning in Zambia and negotiating a move between continents, while the platetrotting did not stop, the blogging took a bit of a backseat.
But 2019 is a new year! One that I hope will be filled with more travel, more food and more opportunities to write and share my experiences with fellow platetrotters.
Happy new year and happy platetrotting in 2019!
